He joined Forever Young Spa in Southern Village, where his mentor, Won, a skilled stylist from South Korea, profoundly influenced his professional life. Under her guidance, Mike mastered color theory, fashion tones, and cutting-edge styling techniques. More importantly, he learned the value of relationships, creating a salon atmosphere that fosters deep connections, turning casual conversations into lasting friendships. Residing in Chapel Hill has been a journey of professional growth for Mike, adapting from new wave to classical styles, which has instilled in him the confidence to cater to every client’s unique flair. He developed the Moxy Fox concept, envisioned as a sophisticated adult salon offering a space for vibrant discussions, complemented by complimentary cocktails, beer, and wine.
